Bryan: When I was just starting out as an actor, you know, you take all kinds of odd jobs … I worked for a security company, and they said “Hey, we got a good gig for you tonight; you’re going to be Alfred Hitchcock’s personal security.” And I thought, great … it’s a big thing: Alfred Hitchcock, the famed director; I was a huge fan. As it turns out, I went to the awards [show] and I was outside in the parking lot; I was actually guarding his car, not Alfred himself. But when he drove up, I opened his door; and the great director, there he is; he steps out onto the curb, and I said to him — we had a moment, and I said, “Enjoy your evening, Mr. Hitchcock” to which he replied, and I’ll never forget: “AHHHGH!”
